Fintech Wales is a not for profit members collective that acts as the voice of the Fintech Sector in Wales. We aim to empower Fintechs and financial services in Wales to be successful on the World Stage and ensure they are a major driver in the UK economy. Launched in April 2019 Fintech Wales provides an independent voice for the FinTech industry, both in Wales and beyond which helps to champion & maximise the potential for all businesses in the sector. As well as nurturing & supporting those business already in Wales we aim to develop and ecosystem that will help new Fintech Companies start-up or scale. Our ultimate goal is to make Wales a leading pillar in the global Fintech community. We do this by raising awareness of established and growing Fintech in Wales, by connecting the community through events and working with the education sector to ensure provision of the skills required by the sector.

Role information
Due to the successful award of a significant research project we are looking at expansion with the introduction of a marketing assistance to support our CEO. As a small team the role will be varied including supporting our content creation and contributing to our digital marketing, as well researching potential new members and supporting the administration of our CRM system.

The role supports the business by proving an additional Marketing, research and administrative support to the current team enabling increased digital marketing capacity and member support activities

Key Responsibilities
Research and creating digital content based on our members
To input content on database system
Supporting our membership recruitment drive
To adhere of our brand guidelines
To make sure deadlines are met and the content is published on time
Post on Twitter and LinkedIn to create awareness and enquiries
Create Content, other Marketing Collateral.
Potential to shadow our CEO in a fully supported capacity
Research market trends, demographics, fintech companies, and other relevant info that helps inform & develop content plans.
Liaising with members to promote events and engagement
Organising and managing data and content on our established electronic filing system
