Mambu, the leading SaaS engine powering innovative lending and deposits, today announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS).

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is the globally recognised standard for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, maintaining, and improving an ISMS. It is developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Mambu’s certification was issued on successful completion of a formal audit in May 2018.

“As a young company providing mission-critical systems to financial institutions around the world, implementing the highest level of information security is fundamental to our business and we take our responsibility seriously,” said Eugene Danilkis, CEO of Mambu. “Achieving this certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the security of our clients’ and employees’ data and information. We are continuously evolving our controls to adjust to the threat landscape and industry best practices, with security embedded in all our processes.”

Commenting on the significance of the certification, Thomas Bachman, Mambu CIO said: “Our clients can have confidence in our processes and assurance that their sensitive information is managed to the highest security standards. We are now aligned with AWS principles and aim to partner with companies adhering to similar standards in the larger financial services ecosystem.”
