Earthport has been selected by the London Stock Exchange Group to feature in its ‘Top 1,000 companies to inspire Britain 2018’ report. Now in its fifth year, the report recognises the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized businesses in the UK.

Earthport was founded to reduce the cost and complexity of cross-border payments through its innovative payments network. Today, Earthport continues to disrupt international payments, able to seamlessly manage payments to almost any bank account in the world and setting new industry benchmarks in price, speed and transparency.

Nikhil Rathi, CEO of London Stock Exchange Plc, said: “We warmly congratulate Earthport for being identified in this year’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report. Five years on, the report continues to demonstrate the strength and diversity of British businesses across the country. These dynamic companies are the backbone of our economy, playing an important role in the UK’s ability to innovate, export and grow.”

With the recent invitation to join the UK Department for International Trade on a US Trade mission promoting British business, this is the second time this year already that Earthport’s credentials as an innovator and driver of British industry have been recognised.

Valli Ardalan, Earthport’s Vice President of Strategic Alliances, said: “It’s a great honour to be recognised by the London Stock Exchange as one of the UK’s most dynamic companies. It’s testament to Earthport’s culture and ambition that we continue to drive the evolution of cross-border payments. We look forward to continuing to showcase the best of British industry on the world stage.”

To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers. More detail on the methodology can be found in the report online at www.1000companies.com.
