Ecommpay has been recognised in a series of 2026 industry awards and shortlistings covering fraud prevention, financial inclusion, payments technology and compliance leadership.
FStech Awards 2026
The payments platform won Anti-fraud Solution of the Year and Financial Inclusion Award at the FStech Awards 2026, held in London on 12 March, and has also been shortlisted in multiple categories at both the UK FinTech Awards and the Retail Systems Awards.
Miranda McLean, chief marketing officer at Ecommpay, said: “It is an absolute honour to receive the Anti-fraud Solution of the Year Award and Financial Inclusion Award. Both awards demonstrate the commitment that the business has put into developing and improving our payments offering by expanding the solutions and payment methods available to our merchant customers, as well as making every payment secure and accessible.
“Last year we took home the Payments Innovation of the Year Award, so to win again this year in two other prestigious categories is a huge achievement. Our entire team has worked hard to deliver accessible and inclusive payment solutions that help empower businesses and drive growth. These awards recognise the genuine positive impact that the innovative Ecommpay solutions are having across the industry today.”
UK FinTech Awards
At the UK FinTech Awards, Ecommpay’s Payouts via Hosted Payment Page solution has been named a finalist for PayTech of the Year, while head of regulatory compliance Alpa Jotangia has been shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year. The winners are due to be announced at a ceremony in London on 23 April.
Willem Wellinghoff, chief compliance officer and UK chair of Ecommpay, commented: “The judges have said the candidates were extremely strong this year, so we are delighted to be shortlisted. At Ecommpay we are committed to developing the best solutions and the best people, and this double shortlisting confirms our success on that mission. We look forward to celebrating with the FinTech community in April.”
Retail Systems Awards 2026
The company has also been shortlisted for three Retail Systems Awards 2026: Payments System of the Year, Payments Innovation Award and Fraud Prevention Solution of the Year. Winners will be announced on 17 June at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square.
Wellinghoff added: “Our commitment to innovation and ongoing development has brought Ecommpay clients and their customers a more streamlined payout experience in the past 12 months. From instant access to preferred cards on any mobile device, to a simplified checkout journey and reduced time to checkout.
“To be shortlisted for these three awards is an honour and an important recognition of the important work of our entire team to bring the best payments experience to our clients and their customers.”
